CHOLEDOCHAL CYSTS: type 1: most common, fusiform CBD dilation, CHOLANGIOCA CAROLI D: type V choledochal cysts, central dot sign, communicate w/ bil tree ACUTE CHOLECYSTITIS: GANGRENOUS CHOLECYSTITIS: ACUTE GB PERFORATION: EMPHYSEMATOUS CHOLECYSTITIS: PORCELAIN GB: GB Ca ASCENDING CHOLANGITIS: hyperenhancement and thickenning of the walls of the BDs PRIMARY SCLEROSING CHOLANGITIS: beaded CBD and intrahepatic BDs, cirrhosis, cholangioca, looks like HIV cholangiopathy, 75% PCS will have Ulcerative Colitis PRIMARY BILIARY CIRRHOSIS: small BDs, pruritus AIDS cholangitis: as PCS but w/ papillary stenosis RECURRENT PYOGENIC CHOLANGITIS: pneumobilia, stones, bil dil, cholangioca BILIARY CYSTADENOMA: large multiloculated cystic mass w/ enhancing septa, mid-age W CHOLANGIOCARCINOMA: Klatskin, peripheral capsule retraction, tumor fingers into BDs
