XRAY Wrist Scaph note

Findings: Frontal, lateral and ulnar deviation views of the right wrist and frontal and lateral radiographs of right forearm reveal no fracture or dislocation. The demonstrated bones, soft tissues and joint spaces are normal.

CONCLUSION: No acute osseous abnormality of the wrist.

Note: Nondisplaced scaphoid fractures are often not evident on the initial radiographs. If the patient has snuff box tenderness or if clinical concern remains for any reason recommend additional imaging to include CT, MRI or bone scan.
