US Ectopic Preg

COMPARISON: None available.
EXAM: Multiple transverse and longitudinal images of the pelvis were obtained using transabdominal and transvaginal sonography. Color Doppler was employed as appropriate.
FINDINGS: There is no evidence of gestational sac in the endometrial cavity. Mixed echogenicity mass measuring 4.0 x 2.1 x 2.4 cm with positive Doppler flow is seen adjacent to the left ovary. No definite gestational sac neither heartbeat are identified within the mass. These findings in patient with hCG at 8000 most likely represent left fallopian tube ectopic pregnancy. No free fluid is identified in the cul-de-sac.
Measurements:
Uterus: [] cm
Endometrial stripe: [] mm
Right ovary: [] cm
Left ovary: [] cm
