XRAY Peds Chest VSD, AI

Findings: PA and lateral radiographs of the chest demonstrate adequate lung volumes. The cardiac silhouette is enlarged. Specifically, there is enlargement of the right ventricle, left ventricle, and left atrium. There is diffuse interstitial and alveolar airspace opacities and a small left pleural effusion. There is no pneumothorax. Median sternotomy cerclage wires are noted. Impression: Enlarged cardiac silhouette and mild pulmonary edema, compatible with provided history of VSD and AI.
